“4 days chilling!”

I went to Phuket with the sole purpose of chilling and relaxing - basically, to do nothing! Having been to Phuket many times before, and stayed at a number of places in Patong and also Surin, I decided to go for something different. Having cancelled two earlier trips in Aug12 and Feb13, this trip was overdue! I decided to 'pamper' ; myself and also find somewhere less busy than the major hotels in town.

BYD was a great choice! The room was superb, the staff were all very friendly and cheerful. Service was excellent and the flexibility of the kitchen second to none - I lived in Thailand for 8 years previously and know what I like to eat, and much of this was not on the (undertsandably) 'westernised& ;#039; menu. Khun Sim made sure that very dish I asked for was delivered in a matter of minutes - and the taste was good, traditional and spicy!

I would say this is a great place for singles or couples who want to chill, have a little bit of luxury and also (if you want it) the madness of Patong just close by, but far enough away that it is not seen or heard when you are on your balcony sipping an ice cold beer! I will be back, and next time I am taking my fiancee too!

“Awesome stay”

Awesome hotel with clean facilities. The staff was responsive and most helpful. Good location with the shopping mall (Jungceylon) and the beach a walk away. Hated the incessant noise due to construction in the neighborhood. And, there was a minor fire in the hotel which made us run for cover in our night dresses. Fortunately, it was just a minor incident.

“Best of two worlds”

Staying in BYD was a great experience. The brand new accomodations have great decoration and good are very comfortable and clean. The best of the hotel is its location: while sitting on a silent and undisturbed area, BYD is walking distance from the Patong Beach and from good nightlife. The staff is also very friendly and the food options of their menu are very good.

Excellent maintained property and the staff could not be faulted in any way. From the moment I arrived antil the day I left the hotel looked after me to a very high level. The property is located in a quiet soi but close enough to restaurants and shopping. Will stay there again without hesitation.

Only critisism is that there is only one elevator which the staff use also. Can be a lengthy delay at certain cleaning times

“Fantastic stay in Phuket”

My wife and i have just returned from a 17 night vacation in Phuket. Having been to Phuket previously, but not for some time. I studied many of the reviews from other hotels and decided to go for BYD Lofts. I made the right choice, believe the previous reviews, all the staff were absolutely fantastic from Management to the front desk, resturant and cleaning staff a true TEAM. My advice, look no further, the rooms, location, food all to a very high standard. Gets mine and my wife's vote for No 1, will most definetly stay again. Thanks for a great vacation.

“BYD Lofts,perfect combination of Home and Hotel”

My brother and I stayed at BYD Lofts between the 3rd-9th Sept 2012 in the penthouse apartment and felt very at home with all the convenience of a very good hotel.The apartment is tastefully furnished and well maintained.Room service is prompt and reasonably priced.And staff very responsive to any request.The free airport pick up in the BYD Mercs was a great start to our vacation.

Excellent location ,5 min walk from the beach and 10 min walk from the nightlife,on a very pleasant,clean and quiet street with all the conveniences at hand.Excellent security without being intrusive and feedom to invite guest back to our apartment without being treated like errant school boys.

BYD was as much a part of our vacation as the wonderful Thai hospitality and look forward to our next visit.

My 3rd stay at BYD and it was even better than before, with the addition of the apartments over the road (where we stayed). I had concerns that with the additional property, they wouldn't be finished to such a high standard as the main building, but this certainly was not the case. They have continued the very high standard of finishing over the road too. It almost feel like a private road now, and for me the best location in Patong.

I can't say any more, with the addition of direct flights to Phuket to Emirate's portfolio soon, I will be back often.

Nice hotel, nice people. I really enjoyed the stay and the people and working were very helpful and cooperative. I really enjoyed my stay with my friend and would recommend this hotel for my other friend. I would also go back to the same hotel on my next trip.

“Number one place to stay Patong”

Title says it all...stay anywhere else and you will be missing out. Your own apartment 5 minute walk from the beach, 10 minute walk to Bangla Rd, best food in town and great staff. Close enough to all the action but quiet enough if you need a night off. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when in Patong.
