“The magic of recognition”

"Hello and welcome back", "So good to see you again", Sawasdee Kaa and welcome back".
Are the staff trained to say that to returning guests? Maybe, thats not important. Whats important is that every single one of the staff - from front desk personnel to breakfast staff gives the impression of being happy to see us again. Maybe i´m naive, but if so let me enjoy being seen as a welcoming and waited guest.
The suite was as expected and as it was 6 month ago, everything worked out fine, everything was neat and clean. Everyone was very friendly and walking that extra mile to make sure we were having a good time.
This time, we had a 100 sqm suite facing the street. Its more lively, but no noise when windows are closed.
I love this place and i´m looking forward to return next summer.

“Our home away from home”

From the minut we met our driver Milo in the airport, we felt that we were special guests to the hotel. Cold towels, water and ipad was provided in the Mercedes and on the way to BYD, Alex, the boss called Milo to let us know that our room was ready for us (the time was 9.30 am).
We had 12 wonderful days in our 100 sq mtr. apartment. The staff at the hotel is great and the athmosphere is relaxed, professionel and yet personal to the guests.

The arrival:
We were met with more cold towels and a welcome drink. All paperwork was made with us sitting in the sofa. No standing up, waiting. Very polite staff at frontdesk.

The room:
Spacious 100 sq. mtr luxury apartment, nicely cleaned everyday. Towels changed everyday and linnen changed several times during our stay.

The Bar:
Two times happy hour every day for residents. During happy hour the price of a cocktail is as low as 90 baht. Nice staff in the bar as well.

The restaurant:
More than great, we had dinner and lunch several times and the quality is higher than average Patong restaurant. Mix of asian and mediterranean. Great Valentines menu.

Breakfast:
Different kinds of cereals, asian food, fresh fruits and bread. Nice without being exceptionel.

Management:
Had a little issue concerning housekeeping and talk to Alex the owner about it. Everything was sorted out fast and we had a complimentary bottle of wine for appollogy.
Have been in contact with Alex before, during and after our stay and wonder how he can treat us that personal - allmost feels like we are friends of the house (or maybe just difficult guests :-))

Will we come back?
Oh yea, BYD is our home from home when we are in Patong. Next time probably in an apartment facing the street.

“Excellent”

It is a perfekt place for a nice holliday. Wonderfull big rooms, perfekt clean and with fruit and flowers when you arrive: you really fell wellcome! also because of the nice staff - always smiling and helpfull. Fantastic place!! We were there in November 12 and look foreward to come back now in februar/marts.

Very nice hotel. Lokation is good comparing to restaurants and beach. Staff is very nice, I feel very welcome here, it is my second home. The restaurant at the Hotel is also very good. There is no fitness at the hotel, but I were using one, just across the street, so it was no problem. During my last stay, there was a fire in one of the rooms, but the staff were handling the situation very proffesionel.

“BYD - a new experience”

Never tried an apartment hotel before of such standard. Being upgraded to a large room of 100 m2 - clean and modern, I was very satisfied. Service in reception and restaurand excellent. Location reasonable close to beach.
