“Best family holiday ever!”

Traveling with 2 young children is never easy , but we had the best holiday ever staying at ByD Lofts during our Dec holiday!
This our 6th stay with BYD lofts , it's like our 2nd home by now.
Their modern apts are spacious ,clean with every modern amenities u need to keep one connected to the world .
The rooms are exactly the same as the pictures u see on their website. Beds were super comfy , they were so kind to our girls too, providing us with extra amenities n child size comforter .

Our girls n their little cousins had all the space to run around in our apt without knocking ino furnitures!

Located at the quite end of Patong beach just a 10 mins walk to Juncelyon shopping mall n Bangrak.
Our extended family stayed atSiam Palm just across BYD Lofts.
The interior looks like similar to BYD Lofts on their website but in actual fact it's a far cry from it!
Beds were rock hard, no blankets were given just a top sheet ! Our cousins had back ache just after their 1st night !

Beach is just 5mins walk away . Who needs a kids club when nature's playground is just a 100 meters away !

Food n room service was great !

We had a great time staying BYD Lofts , no words could describe how I (as a mother of 2 ) felt.....fun n relax on a holiday !

“Perfect place for families staying in Phuket”

We had a great time in Phuket staying at BYD Lofts (1 bedroom serviced apartment). It's not the cheapest place to stay, but it was certainly worth it and we will definitely stay there again. Rooms spacious, clean and well outfitted; all the staff we met were friendly and very helpful; and the service was excellent at all times. It's close enough to the centre of town, but far enough way to make it a bit quieter and a nice haven, especially with our young son along.

Some small ideas for an even better experience - get at least one more high chair for the restaurant, maybe expand the breakfast selection even more (more options for cooked items to order?)

“Awesome, awesome place!”

BYD Lofts Boutique Hotel & Serviced Apartments boasts modern luxurious living standards in a rapidly developing country like Phuket, filled with so much history and heritage. The loft was very spacious with a separate living room from the bedroom and a balcony to complete the experience. The breakfast was awesome as well.

Regarding service, it was very, very good with service staff being very helpful. We're immensely appreciative of the hospitality!

We love BYD!

“First Class Experience”

“Great Experience!”

Stayed at BYD Lofts for 3 nights and it was a great experience! The apartment is clean and spacious. The surrounding is also quiet so it's actually good since the central patong area is too noisy. Also, got upgraded into a mercedes from a honda for our airport transfer smilie

“A quiet oasis amidst the ever bustling Patong”

BYD Lofts is truly a swanky boutique hotel located a stone throw away from the heart of Patong. It is also a short walk to the Patong beach which really makes it convenient whatever your plans for the day are.

Food
There are a few seafood restaurants and a 7 eleven shop outside the hotel if you want to eat out without going too far.

Accomodation
Wherer should I start? We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom Grand Deluxe Apartment and the room was awesome! Clean, spacious with fully furnished kitchenette. There was even a potted plant decorated with fairy lights in every balcony as it was Christmas time that we stayed there. It is a resounding thumbs up in every single aspect.

Friendly and courteous staff especially Alex Bressers who often replied to my emails very quickly.

“BYD Lofts”

The stay at Aloft was great. Transfer from the Airport in the Mercedes was a nice way to start with. The apartment that we had was large with all the necessary items in place. Give us a feel of at home. Staff was friendly and helpful.

“Very nice apartment and very friendly and helpful staff”

We stayed 3 nights with 2 kids 7 and 3 ... The staff were wonderful help and friendly and made us feel totally taken care of . They went all out to help us ... On the first day we rushed in from work and the adults hadn't had dinner and the counter staff who checked us in helped with the sleeping kids and made the chef stay back to make us dinner and had it sent to our rooms smilie

the rooms were big and clean and lots of space to chill and for the kids to run ard.
The rest of the days we were similarly cared for and the staff always had smiles for us .
Will definitely recommend the place smilie

“Splendid 1 yr Anniversary”

I've stayed in BYD for 4nights, everyday was a surprise!!! Firstly, upon arrival we were welcomed by a good news, BYD upgraded us to a bigger suite on the 3rd lvl. Secondly, entering the room gave us "Wow, wow, wow" factor!!! They laid our bed w lovely towel swans and rose petals, fantastic way to kick off our anniversary celebration!!
I'm really satisfied with the special arrangement BYD had for me. Will be looking forward for our next stay in 2013!! Hope to see the same welcoming stuffs again!! Also to thank BYD management that took down my prior request and turn it to a pleasant surprise for us both. Thank You!
No regrets if you r looking for a comfy place to spend your valuable holidays. 5Stars up for BYD*****

“Forever Byd lofts”

I should have written this review right after my amazing stay with BYD Lofts during the June school holidays this year but has been so busy with the real world !
Phuket is my family's paradise under the sun and BYD Lofts is our paradise home away from home !
We love everything BYD Lofts has to offer .This was our 5th time staying here !
Our 2 bedroom apt was very modern ,well maintained , clean . Plenty of room for my 2 girls to run around without bumping into any furnitures . 2 big bedrooms , 2 bathrooms .The spacious masterbedroom ensuite includes shower stall complete with a big rain shower head as well as a huge bathtub was a big hit with my 2 yr old .
The spacious balcony was a make shift office for husband who still had to work despite being on vacation!
We have never stayed at a hotel that we were just happy to stay in room do nothing but catch up with the latest Korean series , cooked for the girls and not go anywhere just !

Both restaurant & Room service was fast and delicious and reasonably priced.
We tried eating at nearby cafe thinking it was cheaper but we were wrong . It was almost the same price and didn't taste as good as what BYD lofts has to offer.
During our stay last Dec , I commented that I wished there highchairs in the restaurant .
Highchairs were there this year! They really take their guest comments seriously !

We are planing for our next trip to Phuket in Dec already . Our choice of stay is of course with
BYD lofts ! We have found our home away from home !

“One of the Best, if not the best”

Stayed in BYD for 4 nights earlier this month. From the time I checked in till I checked out, my family and I have been very impressed by the level of service from its staff. Very friendly and eager to help.

Nice of them to also upgrade my airport transfer to their gorgeous Merc CLS, Upon checking in delighted to know they also upgraded my room ! wow wee ! Rooms were immaculate and the built-in kitchen is wonderful for parents like me who have to cook for my infant.

Location is PERFECT, slotted between the beach & Rat-U-Nit Rd, near from everywhere yet sheltered from the street noise.

It's a pity that I did not get to try any of the F&B outlets as I'm a street-food guy, but will try it next time I return.

Keep it up, BYD. Will be my choice accomodation in Phuket everytime smilie

“Great stay”

This was my first visit to Phuket and BYD Lofts was a great way to experience the stay. The apartment beautiful and clean. Town center is a short 15 min walk and the beach, 5 min away. It was a great place to return to after a day out in the sun and sea. Thanks for helping with my special requests too - we had a wonderful time celebrating our 2-years' anniversary with the roses and champagne. Will definitely stay again if I return to Phuket!

“Get away with my daughter”

This is a get away trip with my daughter who will soon grow up and vacation with her friends. It was a great vacation! One to remember with bike rides, para sailing, snorkeling, island hopping, great food, shopping, etc.

BYD lofts is a great place to relax and right location for excitement in Patong beach, largest and most happening beach. It is in a quite road to avoid all the noise but still in a central location, only 5 minutes from the beach for para sailing, 15 minutes from the busy streets night life and 20 minutes from the walk till you drop malls (Ya, Patong has a Robinson mall but really a lot of interesting small shops).

I think the best things about BYD lofts are the little things they do. We got an upgrade to Deluxe, thanks Alex! A welcome drink and note with your name on it. A full kitchen with cooking utilities and plates. We cooked breakfast and the house keepers were kind enough to clean up smilie

OK on most vacation you don't want to cook, but it is nice to have the facilities in the room. We watched DVD on a nice TV in comfortable chairs after 2 days of snorkeling and listened to our iPod music to sleep. The tub was relaxing with a big shower if needed. Nice aroma oil is available, remote lighting for different mood and contemporary paintings everywhere.

On our last day, we took the mercedes to the airport, leaving Phuket in style. Thanks for a great trip.

“Outstanding staff, spacious room and worth for money”

Greeted and welcome by Milo(driver) and he drives us to hotel in a luxury new Mercedes S class. Check in was fast and efficient. Escorted by Nate and she explained all in room facilities in details. Room was spacious and clean. With the rate that you paying, you won't be able to get this type of room elsewhere. Trust me. the manager Harry and all the staffs were very attentive and always smile whenever they see us, jokes and provide us good tips about Patong. Food In the hotel was delicious and cheap. Room service was fast and we always dine in as there's to much selection. Distance to beach is about 5 minutes away and it took you 15 to 20 minutes to jungceylon shopping mall and famous night life Bangla road. Be careful if you wanna go for shopping as there's lots of people marked up the prices as they knew you were not locals. Go look for Jinda shop at thaweewong road or you may check on cathyandgarystravelpages.com for shopping guide. If you want to purchase souvenirs, I suggest you try to shop at jungceyloon mall basement instead. We went for few tours, recommended by hotel staffs and it really worth it, cheap and safe.. Upon check in the reception will provide you with a discount coupon which you can use for in room dining and tours. If you decidEd not to dine in the hotel, there's street stall nearby just around the corner which is cheap and clean. (try stall no 8 and friendly seafood). massage servicealso available nearby the hotel. Wished that our vacation will no end so soon as we love the place and the people so much, we definitely will choose BYD again as our preferred accommodation if we travel to Phuket. “My Best Stay in Phuket”

I have been to Phuket several times already and my last visit in May 2012 will not be my last. I really enjoyed my stay at BYD lofts in Phuket, Patong. The rooms offered by BYD lofts simply exceeds my expectations. Clean and fully furnished rooms at a great price. It is definitely my best stay in Phuket.

“Awesome experience! awesome place! Couldn't ask for more”

My girl friends and I had been planning for our girls trip and I was in charge of arranging for our accomodation and transportation. Not only we received discount for the room but as soon as we got to BYD Lofts, we were upgraded from 120 sqm Penthouse to 160 sqm Penthouse. I got so much compliments from my girl friends for making a very good choice. And the moment we posted pictures on Facebook, a lot of my friends and girl friends' friends asked and complimented about the room we stayed in.

The reservation was smooth, the location was excellent, the staff were all helpful and smiling, and the room was superb. I will definitely recommend this place to all of my friends who are planning to visit Phuket. And will definitely book myself in the same place if I ever go to Phuket again.

“Great stay and quality sleep”

Room - My partner and I stayed for 3 nights in April. The accommodation is great, with excellent service from all the staffs (everyone was outstanding~), and the room is extremely clean and big. Totally exceeded my expectation. As it was not located along or near Blangah area, it was really peaceful at night.

Lobby - Probably would suggest some pest control to be done at the lobby/common toilets/computer area, as there are quite a no. of mozzies.

Food - Bar and Bistro is good too, reasonably priced =)

Location - It's abit of a walk to Jungceylon/Blangah and to the beach. But definitely within walking distance.

“spacious rooms”

We stayed at BYD Lofts for 4 nights, and it was great. The room was spacious, just like an apartment, with a living room, bedroom, small kitchenette area. You can walk to most places from BYD even though it is not located at the central of patong. I like it that it is located at a not too crowded street, away from the noise and crowd at night. But you can walk out at night or day to grab food from those authentic small thai food stalls.

“The place to stay in Patong.”

Very modern boutique hotel. Walkable distance to Bangla Road nightlife, yet far enough away to enjoy a good nights sleep. Brilliant in room faciliities. Very clean. Food was reasonably priced and of a good standard. If I am every in Patong I would not hesitate to go back to BYD!

“Luxury holiday”

Very luxury appartment,tastefully decorated and very clean,staff very well traind and polite,as such atmosphere in the hotel felt very good and relaxing.All in a very modern and stylish hotel,liked the wine shop downstairs,good quality wines at reasonable prices.Coming back to Phuket I will look no further and come anytime back to this hotel.

“Perfect place to stay in Phuket”

I have stayed at many hotels in Phuket, but this was my first time at the BYD Lofts.
The apartments are beautifully designed and furnished, with all the amenities you could ever need. Modern and spacious throughout. It had the feel of living in a luxury condo with the added benefit of having all the hotels services at your call.
The staff were excellent, most helpful and friendly - sure this is what you expect in most Thailand hotels, but at the BYD Lofts the atmosphere created gives a more relaxed and personal feel to the whole place.
I will definitely be staying at the BYD Lofts during my future trips to Phuket.

"Livin' the high life, leavin' with smiles on our faces"

We were a huge group of pals celebrating our long-time friendship in Phuket. BYD was really accommodating in arranging for us to have an entire floor to ourselves. The whole gang was delighted with how properly posh the place was and appreciated the spacious balconies. Great surround sound system, fully-equipped kitchen, powerful air-conditioning, etc..

Most of the guys simply could not stop lazing on the many loungers lying in the rooms - it took some effort leaving the lofts each day. Thumbs up for the food and especially the prompt room service. Those who are familiar with Phuket (and Thailand) ended up rating BYD really really highly and that's as huge a compliment these selective chaps can give really!

"Well thought out design - home away from home"

We stayed for 3 nights in a 100sqm 1-bedroom unit. A very good experience with the limousine pickup from the airport - the car was clean and driver was very careful which was great as it was raining and at night.

On arrival, we were greeted by the staff who helped us with our luggage. Check-in was a breeze and the cool towels & cold drink were very refreshing. We were shown to our rooms and it was a nice surprise to see the luggage were already delivered to the room. We were given a walkthrough of the faciltiies in the unit and how to operate them. There was a welcome fruit basket on the table, 2 free bottles of drinking water and a large orchid floral arrangement on the table - real live orchids and not the plastic ones. We had requested for an extra bed as there were 3 of us - this was already setup in the room. This sums up the arrival experience which definitely was without hassle and stress free - a great start to the holiday.

The design of the serviced apartment was very well thought out and had nice touches which enhanced the overall experience. There were paintings on the walls - both in and out of the room. There was a large patio with a table and 4 armchairs - a relaxing outdoor seating area. The high stools around the dining area was a nice area to sit around to have some food, just to read or do some work on the laptop. We were rather surprised with the availability of a sound system in the room. We tried out a concert DVD we bought from one of the street stalls and the sound system together with the large LCD TV made a difference! The bathroom had both the normal wall shower head and an overhead rain shower head. My friend tried it and said both worked at the same time - apparently, a good shower experience :-) There was even a remote control unit to be used for the lights in the apartment! In the kitchen, everything works! Utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, wine glasses were all in good condition and clean. Wireless connectivity worked well in the room. It is within comfortable walking distance to Bangla & Jungceylon.

One day we came back early and they were doing housekeeping in the room - we were rather surprised they were moping the floor. We had thought they would have just swept the floor since we were staying for 3 nights only. It does appear great care is taken by the management to ensure a comfortable stay for the guests. At all times when we came back to the hotel, we were always warmly greeted by whoever was manning the reception. On the last day, checking out was quick and simple. The night before we had requested for transportation to the airport and the car was there ready and waiting.

Overall, it had been a wonderful experience. We would stay here again and highly recomend it to anyone visiting Phuket.

"Exceeds all expectations"

A group of us (12 pax) took up 5 apartments with BYD Lofts. Direct booking via their reservations was a breeze, Alex was swift in responding to our email queries and made all the necessary arrangements accordingly.

Our stay was great, the apartments exceeded our expectations. Very spacious and super stylish with all the modern appliances you need. You just wish you could have a home exactly like this.

We were looked after by a very customer-oriented front desk team throughout. Special mention to Buw who mans the night shift, he met multiple requests from various rooms with prompt service and a ready smile even into the wee hours.

There are convenience stores just steps away if you need a midnight snack. The free internet allow us to immediately upload our holiday photos to share with friends daily.

We really enjoyed our holiday and will definitely recommend BYD to anyone who wants to go to Phuket
