“Blissful comfort” We went on an all girls BFF trip after a big 5-0 birthday bash with our childhood friends from school cohort. We just wanted to chill out, take it easy, spend precious time just being with good friends and catch up. That we did! And in a very good taste, comfortable, well decorated apartment in BYD Lofts, Patong. Location is just nice for us, short walk to the beach, quiet street with enough aminities like family mart, massages, mani and pedi services. The kitchen has enough facilities to cook simple meals and it comes with a coffee maker too! The staff are all really friendly, from the check in, to the coffee house, they are always smiling, and ever ready to get to know you better and suggest something for your stay in Phuket. A well managed outfit that's clean and very well maintained, making our trip is memorable one! Thank you |

“Bit expensive but excellent” Go there if you can afford it. Bit pricy but the rooms are good and facilities great. Restaurant serves excellent food. Service is courteous and prompt. Breakfast was complete. Though we had problems with hot water which was later resolved. |

“Friendly staff, modern rooms, delicious food.” I stayed at BYD Lofts with my fiancé for 9 nights and it was a fantastic experience. The rooms were cleaned daily, the mini bar and restaurant services were affordable, the staff are helpful and friendly. Best of all was the location - away from the hustle and bustle of Patong but close enough to walk down to Bangala Road. We only had one issue — there were cockroaches in the bathroom. However this seemed to be an issue more so with the whole of Patong than anything else. |

“Great stay, high standard, well situated apartment.” Stayed for one week middle of May with my wife. Booked directly with BYD lofts website after trying all the usual holiday sites. Alex answered all emails, hassle free and very courteous and professional at all times, kept us well informed and quick replies if we had any questions. With the booking you get a free pick-up from the airport, so when we arrived the majority of people on our and other flights jostled for taxis just outside the arrivals hall, up pulled our Mercedes CLS. As we sat in the back our driver Win (hopefully spelt correctly) presented us with cold bottles of water and flannels for a refresh, a nice touch. Journey from airport to Patong takes between 40 and 60 minutes depending on traffic. The apartment block is very modern in style e.g. glass floor in reception and stairs up to the first floor, a large waterfall/water feature at the front of the hotel, local Thai contemporary art decorated the walls. Rooms and corridors were bright and not the normal brown wooden decor as seen in many Thai hotels. On arrival at the apartments we were presented with a cooling welcome drink, during our effortless check-in our bags were taken up to the room ahead of us. We were shown to our room on the second floor in the main building; the staff spent 5 minutes going over the room detail, electronic lights, TV, air con functionality etc. The hotel has a lift, the corridors are very wide should you need wheelchair access etc. Walking distance is about 10 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to the main nightlife (Bangela Road). During our stay all the staff were professional, courteous and friendly at all times, it was a pleasure. So in summary our stay and the apartment was an excellent standard and value for money and we were not disappointed, we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and when we go back to Patong this is where we will stay. Please keep in mind that May is a quieter time in Thailand so when reading our review the area is generally quieter and rates are lower than high season. BYD is pricey for Thailand and yes you can get cheaper and will not appeal to some people, however you get what you pay for and you will not be disappointed with BYD. Only one very minor point about our apartment, there was no kettle and us Brits like our cup of tea. The coffee maker is just not up to the job, but really a minor point - LOL. |

“Simply the Best” Stayed for a whole a month (May 2013) at BYD Lofts, its the Best Place to be in Patong. Just 5 minutes walk from the beach and only 15 minutes away from the noisy nightlife, so the area is quiet for a good sleep. The owners are wonderful and make sure all is up to standard and with a good eye for every detail. At the front office ON and NATE together with their colleagues are wonderful and handle all issues with a smile. The drivers make your airport transfer a refreshing one with their Mercedes with a professional but friendly service. The apartments are 5 star standard, well kept and CLEAN. Harry makes sure everything is running smoothly and also makes sure the guests are also well looked after .... keep it up. The Bar and Bistro ... delicious food and atmosphere, everyday is a new nice experience, all the staff very friendly and efficient and make sure the clients are well served with a smile. All dishes Thai and Western are just delicious!!! The pool is small but great and very well kept and clean. Surely all this is possible because they have the BEST TEAM ... keep it up. Miss you all so much .... will surely see you again. SIMPLY THE BEST. best regards to All. |
