“Exquisite Boutique Hotel”

The hotel in located in a aisle close to the main street. I love the balcony that overlooks the street and the lobby bar. The service is very attentive. There was something minor with the air-conditioning system, so the lady who assisted us checking in insisted that they have a technician stop by to fix that.
There is a full function kitchen in the room, so this place might be great for extended stay.
Didn't use the pool, but the restaurant, though small, is such as lovely and elegant place, which a very affordable quality. We had dinner and breakfast there, which all turned out to be a smart choice, especially when I was so sick of the buffet in all five stars.

“Lovely modern small hotel!”

The room was fantastic - large and open and modern! There are 3 buildings that belong to the hotel, so you are either across the little street or in the same one with the bar and the pool. We were on the 5th floor across the street - and it's just one apartment per floor so that was cool. It did mean we had to get to the other building to use the pool.

It was a little bit weird to have the shower in the bedroom with open glass, as we were two friends sharing, but that was no problem as you could close the bedroom door. The living room was spacious and well laid out. And the balcony was perfect. Just like a little apartment! I really loved the boutique hotel style ambiance. And very comfortable bed/pillows!

The service at every step of the way of our stay was excellent. The bar was stylish and we appreciated the "hotel guests only" happy hour smilie The only minor complaint was that the service at the bar was slow - but it was still very good service once we got it. The breakfast offerings looked small, but it was excellent because we got it fresh and it was made to order.

The lofts were nicely tucked away from the busy street, yet walking distance to the rest of the attractions. Absolutely go down to the massage shop (I think it was called healing hands, maybe?) We actually came back to get more massages there smilie

Tips - don't book the taxi from the hotel (it's more expensive!). There was a little travel agency just round the corner that was cheaperer and just as easy to book.

Cannot recommend enough if you want to have a little bit more of an upscale classy stay. Totally worth it.

“Boutique luxury in the heart of Patong”

From the outset, BYD offered plenty of enticements. A better rate for booking early and a minimum of 5 nights. (We were lucky enough to receive the better rate for the whole of our stay, despite butting up against the more expensive Christmas period. A few quick emails between the hotel and I saw it get sorted.) Free Wi-Fi and free transfer from the airport in a Mercedes-Benz CLS (which wasn't actually there, turns out the driver was late, more on that later).

The hotel was pretty darn good; definitely a serviced apartment vibe compared to a full service hotel, but the rooms are much bigger, well appointed and reasonably maintained. You could still order food and drink to the pool like a resort and the restaurant and bar were top notch.

Whilst initially not believing me that their driver wasn't at the airport (language difficulty) to pick me up, they asked me to wait until the hotel manager had a chance to debrief the driver. But a few days later they made good and offered the CLS to take us back to the airport free of charge.

100m from the beach, 300m from party central on Bangla Rd, I wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Patong. The BVLGARI amenities pack was a nice touch too.

“Excellent hotel, great staff and facilities!”

We had a wonderful week at BYD. In the middle of it all with all the amenities of a boutique hotel... Will be back soon, recommend the stylish bar for happy hours, too, amazing cocktails and easy crowd to mingle

“The Best Hotel I Have Stayed”

When I came into here for check-in, they served me wonderful.
Also, they upgraded my room, so it was far greater than my house.
the Last day when I cheked out, I planned to go to Phi Phi. But, on second thought, when I come back here there is nowhere I can take a shower except for the hotel. So, I asked for her that I can take a shower .
They were willing to accept that.
So, I could reach the airport and my home in fresh status.
always serves me greatly and kindly.
