“Loved every minute of my stay at BYD lofts” Great experience with helpful happy staff, and a great location. Was a pleasure from first arriving at the airport and being transferred with there Mercedes convertible to being shown my penthouse style room. Rooms were above my expectations and very well fitted out with all the comforts Costs are a little pricey but well worth it Thank you BYD lofts I will be back |

“Relaxing Piece of Paradise” BYD Lofts are beautiful...better than I expected in the photos from their website! We stayed for 3 weeks and was very comfortable with most everything. We did think about staying at another resort/apt on a smaller part of Phuket, but after checking out what was a available in Kata we decided to stay at BYD Lofts in Patong. Our room was perfect with a king size bed which was so cozy, and plenty of pillows! They are located off the busy streets of Patong so it was easy to relax and enjoy dinner or drinks in their restaurant/lounge. All the employees were amazing at customer service and had smiles on their faces all the time. I love that they had a car available to take you anywhere in Patong for 200 baht. Loves the personal touches in the room too, like fresh fruit, bath robes, internet, safe box, toiletries, blackout curtains, large towels and big tv. The pool is small and you lose sun by lunchtime and there is no gym. They compensate by having an agreement with the hotel across the street so you can use the gym for 100 baht each visit and use of the pool. However, I was told not to take BYD towels over their due to management at the other hotel complaining but when I asked for a pool towel at the hotel, they refused to give me one.....hmmm, very confused. Food was delicious at BYD, especially the Thai beef salad and sesame tuna. A couple suggestions for BYD: add skim or soy milk to breakfast bar, way too much vinegar used in water for poached eggs...over kill! I ordered a yummy chocolate mouse with whipped cream after dinner. I was so surprised the whipped cream came from a can and not homemade..Also some of their other dinner dishes have fish/crab that are canned and not fresh so if this is a pet peeve for you, I suggesting asking if it's fresh or canned. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! BYD was very clean, inviting and worth checking out.. |

“4 days chilling!” I went to Phuket with the sole purpose of chilling and relaxing - basically, to do nothing! Having been to Phuket many times before, and stayed at a number of places in Patong and also Surin, I decided to go for something different. Having cancelled two earlier trips in Aug12 and Feb13, this trip was overdue! I decided to 'pamper' ; myself and also find somewhere less busy than the major hotels in town. BYD was a great choice! The room was superb, the staff were all very friendly and cheerful. Service was excellent and the flexibility of the kitchen second to none - I lived in Thailand for 8 years previously and know what I like to eat, and much of this was not on the (undertsandably) 'westernised& ;#039; menu. Khun Sim made sure that very dish I asked for was delivered in a matter of minutes - and the taste was good, traditional and spicy! I would say this is a great place for singles or couples who want to chill, have a little bit of luxury and also (if you want it) the madness of Patong just close by, but far enough away that it is not seen or heard when you are on your balcony sipping an ice cold beer! I will be back, and next time I am taking my fiancee too! |

“Best Choice I've Ever Made” We arrived late on a Sunday night, but the hotel staff was waiting and ready for us! As soon as we walked in, I could tell it was going to be a nice stay! Our suite had a very specious living area and European-style kitchen, a hugh balcony, bedroom and bathroom. Other reviewers have mentioned the comfort of the bed -- it was truly one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in! Each day we had breakfast in BYD Lofts Bar and Bistro and one night we had dinner at the Restaurant; we had excellent meals both times. The BYD Bar & Bistro was one of our favorite dinners, Very delicious. The location was perfect. Fortunately in a quiet part of Patong Beach , it was only a 5 minute walk to the Famous Patong Beach, Bars, restaurants and shopping ares, and 10 -15 minutes to Bangla road. The concierge was helpful advice on what to do and where to go and would always give us an idea of how much Tuk Tuk and Taxi fares should cost, so we weren't overcharged. The staff had plenty of recommendations on things to see and places to go, which was helpful given our limited planning! Other nice touches include a fresh bowl of fruit on our arrival, cold towel and welcome drink. The pool is small but up on the roof, very nice and offers a good view of the city. We would absolutely stay here again if we are in Phuket . Thank you to all the lovely staff who took great care of us while we stayed. |

“consistently fantastic place” I have stayed several times at byd lofts and it is the only place I would ever stay in phuket. It is consistently friendly, efficient, clean to the point of being a perfect place to stay. It gives the feel of a family home but with a five star luxury. The bar is great and food of a high standard and reasonably priced. I have stayed there several times and will do again. MD |
